What is an EPC
An EPC ( Energy performance Certificate) Is a document that informs people of how Energy efficient a property is in terms of costs, warmth and the effect on the planet.
Whilst you may be able to afford the Rent or to be able to buy the property, this will help inform you of the running costs that the property requires. It is a Legal document that is enforced in any Rental Property or Property being Sold.
Certificates Last for up to 10 Years providing the property hasn't changed in size, insulation or heating methods. For Example a New Boiler, Windows or and Extension will void the EPC and it will need to be updated.
